BIZ REPORT -- Mar 7 -- New comScore survey results show the number of internet users over the age of 15 rose to 747 million in January, 2007, a 10% YOY increase. comScore's latest rankings put the U.S. first with a 2% rise on 2006 taking the January, 2007, level to nearly 154 million internet users, 20% of the total 747 million users online globally. Mark Brooks: China and India will eclipse the U.S.A. eventually. Online billing is tricky in China and India. The cell phone works well for billing in China, but services are limited to charging less than ~$4 a month due to licensing issues.
