The 2nd most important and happiest day of our lives was April 25th, 2009 in Prague, our wedding day. The first was the day Sasha was born. Here we're driving to Louny for the reception.
Our videographer is Czech and didn't understand the words to the song he attached to this video. The movie was meant as a quick message to mum. My mother (77) was not well enough to travel from Victoria, Canada to Prague for the wedding, alas.
We went to Venice as our 'pre-honeymoon' before going to Prague to get married. Here we're in the water taxi, headed back to the Venice airport just after dawn.
We use the Bank of America American Express card for all our expenses.
Which is great because we get 1.25% cashback on everything. I commented to Irena, "well that's better than a kick in the teeth." In Czech the equivalent idiom is "well that's better than a wire in the eye." I'm not sure which idiom is worse.
Today I filmed my first Online Personals Watch news summary in Prague.
It was pretty poor, but probably does the job. It made me realise its
not that easy being on camera. Also, its tough to tell a story in 5
minutes. However, some people have an incredible talent for story
telling, like Ted Cheung. This story managed to move me almost to
tears.
