Wedding Video, With Completely Inappropriate Music

Our videographer is Czech and didn't understand the words to the song he attached to this video.  The movie was meant as a quick message to mum.  My mother (77) was not well enough to travel from Victoria, Canada to Prague for the wedding, alas.

Ferraris in Prague

This was taken the day Obama was in Prague. Ferraris in Prague, on cobblestones, doesn't quite compute.IMG_3483.JPG

Taking The Rough With The Smooth

The cycle path on the way in to Prague is quite precarious. The lines are smooth, the rest is cobblestones, which are amplified by superhard 23c tires. Off in the distance, in the middle of the shot sits Prague Castle.

Czech Calligraphy

What on earth does this say? I had to stop to check it out....and relax by the rivers edge for a whlie. The Vltava was a mirror at 7am.

Prague Office

Here's our office in Prague.  Not too shabby, although definitely a touch Bohemian.

The Proposal

Marc lured Irena out across the Charles Bridge.  She was expecting to meet me for breakfast at our usual spot.  As they crossed the bridge they encountered a pitiful beggar prostrated and freezing, covered by a blue blanket.  Marc persuaded Irena to give the begger some money.  But it wasn't really a beggar...

Unfortunately my prepared speech fell apart as soon as I saw the tears in Irena's eyes, I asked, she managed a yes, and we both turned into a bubbly schmooshy mess.  Afterwards we went to Allegro, the highest Zagat ranked restaurant in Prague.

Irena and I went to the Czech Gynecology today.  We found this strange
object in Irena's tummy.  Its 11.6mm long, 7 weeks and 1 day old and
has the tiniest of tiny heartbeats.  :-)
