POF - Feb 12 - Back in 2003 Markus Frind did many innovative things.
- Introduced the concept of an image strip of profiles.
- Allowed users to restrict what kind of people could contact them.
- First site to use behavioral matchmaking and trying to predict relationships.
- User hosted singles events at a large scale.
After 2006 Markus started focusing on innovating in the backend and sticking to making huge improvements in retention and virility. For the next 10 years POF going to be a lot more innovative again and hopefully redefine the industry once again.
