TECH CRUNCH -- June 30 -- Google launched an affiliate ad network. Or,
rather, it rebranded Performics, the affiliate ad network that came
along with its purchase of DoubleClick, as the "Google Affiliate
Network." The service isn't yet integrated into Google AdSense, but that would
be a logical next step. Google also continues to experiment with a pay-per-action

eComXpo Kicks off October 24
AFFILIATE TIP BLOG -- Oct 22 -- Virtual tradeshow eComXpo kicks off the latest show this week: October 24-26, 2006. Passes are free and there are lots of opportunities to learn and network. They've got 40 presentations, 450 exhibitors, and over 7,000 attendees registered. Plus seven "show in show" hosts, including LinkShare, Performics, and Digital River.
