DAILY UTAH CHRONICLE -- Nov 2 -- Many college-aged people use online dating as a supplement to meeting people at parties, school and work. Before Russel started online dating, he said he thought the idea was "creepy." But after returning from an LDS mission and spending a little too much time sitting around at home, Russel decided to log on to ldssingles.com. "You know the person you're talking to wants to go out on a date," Russel said. "It's easier to break the ice than normal." Russel has had all positive experiences, except for one. He said he felt cheated when he went out with a girl who looked nothing like her picture.
