I have often wondered why Mr. Markus Frind has wanted to call so much attention to himself. As the owner of a privately held business, a certain amount of discretion is wise. I am impressed that he appears to be running a large, profitable website with one employee (himself) and minimal expenses. He does as well or better than similar sized websites who have dozens of employees and many lose money. It remains to be seen if his business model will succeed in just the short run or provide him an income stream for years to come.

Plent of Fish is questionable.

There are so many duplicate accounts on Plenty of Fish. And most of those who registered have lost their accounts and have to register all over again.

Investigate and find out the truth.

God bless.

Markus (POF's CEO) tells me he clears out his inactive profiles on a very regular basis.

You should take a look at Russia's www.mamba.ru. It's VERY impressive & FREE! It has more than 3 million "active" users (used the site within the last month) and typically more than 40,000 live users, during peak times (this is in a country half the size of the US). Nearly 9 million registered users in total. They use a micro-payment (SMS, text messages) business model, which makes them a TON of money. POF should think about the same. In fact, Mamba.ru has NO advertising on its site!
