MySpace to Launch in Japan with Softbank

REUTERS -- Nov 5 -- MySpace.com online service will be launched in Japan in a joint venture with Japanese Internet and telecoms group Softbank Corp. The 50-50 venture will be called MySpace Japan. Shares of Mixi Inc., Japan's most popular online social network site, tumbled 10%.

Mark Brooks: The Asian internet dating convention in May of 2007 will either be in Shanghai or Tokyo.
