I'm tired of staring at the same picture. How about a new picture at least? Is it really necessary for you to have a Hong Kong number?
Lose the background checks survey. I'm so tired of hearing about background checks.
I see internet dating rankings but no social networking rankings? Why no SNS?
Add search.

Is it really necessary for you to have a Hong Kong number?
...Yes, for the Asian internet dating conference. This year it will be in Shanghai in May.
Lose the background checks survey. I'm so tired of hearing about background checks.
...Done.
I see internet dating rankings but no social networking rankings? Why no SNS?
...See left bar, lower down.
Add search.
...See 'Search This Whole Wide Blog' under Site Search & Archives on the left bar.

It would be interesting to see a compilation of which players own x patents in the sectors. The Ocean Tomo 300 (newly formed index based on IP strength of companies) is out performing the S&P 500 - a similar dating/SNS compilation could be an indication of who will be around when the web 2.0 dust settles.

Yea.. time to pony up for a new photo dude! ;-)
I like that you have the top FIFTEEN sites.. well sometimes. (might want to look at your "Top 15 Hitwise")
Cheers!

New picture...or no picture at all. New design. Put the search box on the home page rather than having a link to the search. Increase the text size.

...I'm somewhat limited by Typepad. I've moved the search link up on the left side. Anyone know how to pull a Google Site Search box into Typepad?

Can you, please, put an updated list of software for dating sites somewhere?
Posted by: Dan | Dec 26, 2006 at 02:05 AM
There's a list of software providers under 'Handy Little Lists' on the right bar, btw.

Mark,
Removing the old photo before having a new one ready to post was a mistake. It's always nice to update photos, as you well know, but not having a nice professional photo is worse than one that posters here have seen for some time now. The media, new visitors, etc. no doubt will like to see a face with a name.
Get a new photo... yes. But keep the other one until you do.
Oh, and no squirrels!
Thx,
James Houran, Ph.D.

great references concerning the ranking, as suggest previously, i would suggest too, to add ranking about social network application. i know it's a larger kingdom but definitively overlapping the area.
Focusing on activities over the overall webusers activity could be as well quite interesting to figure out, country/ country.
Look forward to see the evolution.
for a daily or at least weekly pic, this is a good suggestion too.
It animates the page. It doesn't need to be portrait only, but the last meeting, or events from editor life. It will bring personality and intimacy, complicity with each readers. akind of best of the day, or the week with a legend, obviously.
thx for attention

QUESTION>
why do you set up a link with WEBDATE in categories? and with all other affiliates with your mobiledating blog, etc...?
You are referencing them as interesting!
this website has more than just very, very, very fake traffic.
What is the level of expertise you are challenging, if you are still linking such companies?
Aren't you disqualifying the quality of your reports and other blogs by setting such relationship with this website?
Do you have other similar collaboration? if yes which ones?
Are you gone continue to support them?
BUT overall and MORE important
I suggest that you should quickly set up some corrections, and in future some serious regular controls regarding quality and trust you could have or want to build with your readers and the overall profession.
Beware, Linking some businesses might damage years of work and reputation.
Hope this message will help you to seriously improve not only the top left pic on your blog.
thank you for your attention.
