The USA is a very specific country because of excess media influence on cultural values, and the questions are worded in a way searching for a specific result. “Agree that people can be happy without getting married” Sure someone can be happy not being married. Someone can be happy living in Antarctica too, but why.
The reality is most people get married. No one wants to be a lone women with 20 cats or an old man spending his free time playing solitaire. Marriage and family are normal healthy parts of being human. We all want this. Even though not everyone’s experiences are positive with love and marriage, hope wins over experience and people keep looking. You have to be strong, and courageous and not give up and say marriage and family are outdated because some pop poll tells you so.
