Mark Brooks: Nice idea, nada traffic. Another spin on 'rich guys and cute dolls' niche dating that seems to be all the rage right now. I.e. WealthyMen.com, MillionaireMate.com, Cashcats.com, MillionaireFriends.com, also aSmallWorld.com.
$1.5 million for 1,000 members? I am presuming that number will grow, but what kind of CPMs do they expect advertisers to be paying?
Even if you expanded to 100,000 members, only a fraction would be logging on daily let alone being active. Sounds like an investor money grab to me.

I like the entry key invite concept a la A Small World. I'm working on a project with a similar exclusivity and have been amazed at how many me-to sugardaddy sites are popping up.
These sites will live and die by high-end connections and promotion alone. Currently, two or three are doing *very* well, the rest continue to fight for the remainder of the rich-and-pretty market.
Arrington can't wait to stick these kinds of sites in the Deadpool, I wonder what the market will look like in 18 months.
