KANE COUNTY CHRONICLE -- Apr 17 -- It's a simple fact that paying utilities, mortgages and rent can be more difficult enough without a second income. But for many singles, the actual expense of trying to meet a partner is just as much of a drain on the wallet. What if you could go on a first date without spending any money on new clothes or gassing up the car? That's the idea behind OmniDate, a Toronto-based free online service where couples have virtual dates before meeting in person. "It allows you to get to know someone without incurring the expense of getting dressed up and driving all the way to met this person who may or may not have anything in common with you", said Igor Kotlyar, president of OmniDate.
