Are you now a business broker? (They earn fees to sell businesses, much like real estate brokers, though I don't know if a license from the state is required.) Full disclosure, please.

Also, like any homeowner who reads the classified ads in the newspaper to see what his house is currently worth, what is the current multiple being offered for profitable internet dating websites? Penthouse paid 5 times profits for Adult Friend Finder (which I would consider a steal) and then announced that they would offer the same for similar sites. Now we hear that they are having issues with their computer programmers and may delay a public offering. Is Penthouse out of the picture (for now) as a buyer? Who else is in the market and why?

I have a few clients interested in buying properties. Beyond that, I also have an exclusive business brokering partnership with iMergeAdvisors.com. I'm not in the business of selling sites, but I have clients interested in buying. I refer larger properties that are openly for sale to iMergeAdvisors. FriendFinder is not on my client list. Smaller properties go for lower multiples. Larger properties that are PG command far higher.

My job is to find good deals. The profile of a good deal is most likely to be a profitable site over $3 million in revenue that is in decline with an owner who is motivated to cash out.

Existing sites also offer a launch pad in terms of SEO credibility which is increasingly important as more and more dating businesses are focussing on SEO.

Brayan, I looked at your site and on the very first page I spotted 3 photos of well known scammers. Did they fill out the IQ test and did they really get 90 and 95 points? If they did, then I congratulate them - they are getting smarter :-)

If each and every profile is being reviewed, then I suggest you emphasize on quality control. Something is not right if scammers are making it to a final (approved) registration with a full profile.
