1888PRESS RELEASE -- Sep 26 -- DontDateHimGirl.com has implemented a new search interface on the site, created by PredatorBarrier.com, which will allow users to find out if the guy they're dating is a registered sex offender in the U.S. PredatorBarrier.com offers its services at no charge in the form of both traditional and mobile device portals.
The full article was originally published at 1888PressRelease, but is no longer available.
Hi! Thank you VERY much for writing about our site! I'd like to answer a couple of questions raised in your post.
1) The information on the site is a total aggregation of all sexual offender data provided by all 50 states sex offender registries. ALL services from our site are free.
2) The data is updated once every 3 - 5 days depending on the particular state.
3) We do not modify any of the data. The data is exactly what the state who is reporting the offender shows. This includes deceased and incarcerated, absconders as well as those who are in compliance.
4) The information is only as accurate as what is reported by the state of record.
We created this site so that instead of people having to search 50 states individually for a person, they have the ability to search all simultaneously within a standardized data format. For example, let's say you live in New York, but someone is acting in a manner which makes you uncomfortable for whatever reason. What if the person is a registered sex offender from Florida? Then what? Well, that's why we came along.
Instead of having to pay for a background investigation or having to search all 50 states individually, we allow you to search the complete data set simultaneously. No one else has this data standardized and indexed in this manner.
We also offer commercial services for entities who need API integration for employment background research, an invisible process for screen offenders from a website registration process, or a public display such as the one you can see at DontDateHimGirl.com's Search mechanism.
We are rolling out a safe and free family tracking system in October as well. :)
If you have any questions, please contact me directly at [email protected].
Thanks!
