NATIONAL POST -- Nov 6 -- There are a bunch of new matchmaking websites catering specifically to "Green minded" people - GreenSingles.com, VeggieLove, Ethical Singles.com, to name a few. "Environmentalists can be really serious," says Josh Rachlis, a copywriter at a Toronto ad agency, known as "the green guy" around the office. He wants to find a woman who falls somewhere in the middle of the environmental spectrum.."The problem is, when it comes to the regular dating sites, if I mention the fact that I don't have a car then suddenly the girl won't talk to me any more," he says. I like PlanetEarthSingles.com myself. It has a wide range of members and members rate themselves based on how "green" they are (ie: forest green-very eco-savvy to not green--I need to get on the ball!). Their essays are much deeper than most sites and I like their format---it's unique and user friendly. I have met some really cool people on Planet Earth Singles and would recommend the site anyday.
