You'd think Matchmakers would have met their demise after the rise of internet dating, but they seem to be benefiting from the rise of the idating industry. Basically, the internet dating industry has warmed people up to the idea of paying for help to meet the right person.

There is certainly a growing demand for the independent verification of members that offline dating services have traditionally provided far more effectively than their online counterparts. The Right One/Together Dating should be applauded for offering daters the reassurance they are increasing seeking. The next challenge for the industry is to combine the cost efficiency and ease of access offered by online dating with the independent validation and personal touch of offline services.
