I can't believe that only 51 per cent of single parents believe that they and their children would be emotionally better off when in a committed relationship. I would've expected the percentage to have been higher, I guess a lot of them didn't want to say that they can't cope and needed a partner. I just think it's important for anyone that they find a partner that they can enjoy things with and surely that would make them feel better. I can also see that children with two parent figures in the household would benefit them too. However, I'm well aware that single parents can do a great job of bringing up their children, I just think having a complete household may be better for happiness.
