Please note, Internet Dating Executive Alliance members are strongly encourage to vote. Use the link that I send you though. That will ensure that your votes are weighted appropriately. IDEA member votes are weighted 90% towards the total vote. End user vote are weighted 10%.

I should also note, Courtland Brooks employees, the people who work on Online Personals Watch, and the organisers and employees of the Internet Dating Conference are not allowed to nominate or vote.

Hi Mark, Quick question on the shortlisted nominess... I'm a little puzzled as to how e-harmony which was established in 2000 and spends well north of $100m in advertising in the US alone be considered as a nominee for 'Best up and coming dating site'? Surely it is one of the most well established dating sites out there?

Also the subtitle for this category appears to be the same as the one for 'Best Marketing Campaign' - which I can understand e-harmony being nominated for.

Mentioned my thoughts on the awards on my blog recently. Would like to join, tried again just now, Looks as though 60% of members are CEOs or Founders of internet dating companies, I'm squarely in the 40% bracket but would like to participate.

Seems a bit too biased in terms of 90/10 voting, 365 people vs. the entire internet. Would love to see consumers represented better, they're the ones who's votes count.
