Perhaps by 2012, 2013 the "mobile" concept will be diluted, it will disappear [for online dating purposes]. The majority of persons will use netbooks with mobile broadband modems or with wireless hotspots instead of SmartPhones [for online dating purposes].

It's great to see Meetic growing like this. I love reading about about churn and revenue per subscriber numbers. Dating sites tend to treat these stats like some sort of secret, when all it takes if a few minutes with a calculator to figure it out yourself.
Looks like my RPU (Industry standard 3-month term) has stood still since 1995.
Interesting drop in mobile revenue. Show me people over 30 using mobile dating in any large numbers, that's when the revenue will start to take off. If you're over 30, you go home to check out Meetic/Match. Gay dating seems to be where mobile has the most traction.

Am I completely wrong to state that Meetic stagnated in 2009 in revenues, outside the match.com acquisition? No growth at all? And the same happened in 2008, when the growth only came from other acquisitions?
What´s wrong with Meetic and the European Dating Market? to have stagnation or O% growth for two years in a row as the market leader is a serious business problem, I would think. And not only for the market leader, but the dating market in general
