OPW – Sep 17 – In the past, mobile services money was made from ringtones ($6.1 Billion in 2005), chat services and games. Today, the mobile revenue comes mainly from mobile payments ($71 Billion), music ($26.1 Billion), ringtones ($6.1 Billion) logos and app stores ($4.2 Billion in 2009 and $6.8 Billion in 2010). In 2013 the revenue from mobile payments is projected to be $860 Billion: app store ($29.5 Billion), mobile advertising ($7 Billion), virtual goods ($7.3 Billion).
