BUSINESS WIRE - Mar 8 - DateNight, a new concierge service that creates fun and engaging dates for busy couples, officially launched in the Washington DC area today. “In today’s busy world, most couples are so consumed with work and family obligations that when they do manage to go out together, they rarely have the time, let alone the energy, to do anything beyond the same-old dinner and a movie routine,” said DateNight CEO and co-founder Robert Schumann. “DateNight wants to change that. Our mission is to revitalize marriages by helping couples rediscover the pleasure of having fun together.”
Online dating services are the best way nowadays to meeting new people for any purpose, but you have probably noticed that there are so many of them.

It seems odd that married couples living together would go online
to find a great way to have a date. Are we really that busy?
Are we really that dependent on being online? Something doesn't seem
right here, but I wish you all the success in launching your new site.

I love the idea! When you are dating, you are more plugged in to what is 'new' or where where you might go on a date. The "date" is the thing...it totally gets buried in the day to day when you are well into the marraige. I think this is a refreshing take on the new trend of online...supporting a marraige. It's not a 'virtual' date, right?...it's the real thing...just supported with new ideas. Good luck. I hope it goes national! ...and I say, 'yes' we really are that busy! (mom 2 3)
