Amicus, a Latin word meaning 'friend,' highlights the project's social emphasis. Grindr, the world's largest all-male location-based network, has 1.5M members in 180 countries, with 300K active daily users. Grindr is currently available for iOS, Android, and BlackBerry mobile devices.
