MARKETWIRE - Aug 12 - TheJMom.com is launching in Israel. In almost a year, TheJMom has connected 1K parents throughout the U.S. and Canada. How the site works: A parent writes a profile, including a photograph of their child and information about their family as well. Then, if the parent spots a potential set up, they contact the parent of the potential date. Once both parties agree to set up their kids, the profiles are emailed to their children. The kids then take it from there and choose to email their potential match.

This is a very innovative concept and I wonder why it has not been introduced in several other countries by now! Glad to hear that it is now being launched in Israel. The site has taken up an amazing endeavor to bring together families in terms of match-making for their children. I am sure this will become immensely popular worldwide in the next few years. The fact that the individuals interested in each other can contact each other through email after their parents have spotted a potential match for them ensures that all parties are happy. Kudos to the site for this kind of innovative thinking!

It has been appriciated much and desired for other nations too. But do our children will accept what has been proposed by their parents? Ok if it is for kids the process has been facilitated and can trust all the data. If the kids choose, are they mature enough to choose?

I've never really heard that there is a site that works like this. Parents are the ones doing all the works like sending profiles of their kids and all. Thanks for writing about this for at least parents who believe they know what is best for their children can have a way. Parents would of course want the best only for their kids and would want to secure their future. I think this is a new and unique concept and for this I think the site will make it big!
