ALLTHINGSD - Nov 18 - OkCupid has ventured from New York to San Francisco to create a freshly staffed outpost of start-up folks in order to brainstorm the site’s next act. They call it OkCupid Labs. OkCupid was bought by IAC’s Match.com for $50M in February.
Interesting approach. Any company that encourages innovation and risk-taking will only serve to advance the entire industry, in the long run.
[Memo to interviewers... Consider using an external mic when recording video interviews. Even though the built-in mics on most cameras are very good, the sound quality would be even better with a mic on the subject.]

Internet dating is unique as an industry in numerous ways. Few other industry's have the ability to wreak such far reaching consequences.
Its also fascinating. OK Cupid has done a great job of dredging up some fascinating and super controversial social observations from their members stats. What's next? Online Personals Watch will be looking for more from this innovation leader.

Interesting... I could understand every word the interviewER said, but not one word the InterviewEE said, so rather missed the point of the interview. Would love to work for OKCupid... they have a BIG problem I could easily solve from my home computer.
