OPW - Dec 10 - Excused is a half-hour long reality dating show hosted by Iliza Shlesinger, the first female and youngest winner of Last Comic Standing. In a television first, viewers actually have the opportunity to date contestants who appear on Excused on the online-dating site Jazzed.com.

These reality shows are really inexpensive to produce compared to other genres - and they get pretty good ratings as well. It seems like more and more opportunities are developing for things like this, provided some creativity is used for the premise.
