Couples can then use the site to “coordinate on date plans and track places they’ve been. As an added bonus, HowAboutWe Couples will receive “deals and experiences” tailored to dates. Co-creator Aaron Schildkrout is hiring a sales team to source local deals, which will be more Gilt City than Groupon,” he says. “The company doesn’t want to deal in discounts, which is a fully saturated market, but in unique or exclusive "experiences".

I'm really surprised more dating sites haven't embraced daily deals offers. Mind you, the people behind Plentyoffish.com started Offeron.com, for Canada. (Full Disclosure, POF is a client of Courtland Brooks). But I think there's more opportunity for working with, and meshing in, daily deals offers which are appropriate for dates.
