Meetic Q1 Revenues Drop By 11%

THE NEXT WEB - May 2 - Meetic posted a net profit of 3.4M euros for the Q1 '12, compared to a net loss of 3.2M euros for the same period last year. In Q1'12, Meetic lost 13% of subscribers, driving revenues for the period down to 41.2M euros compared to 46.2M euros in Q1 '11. Meetic significantly lowered its marketing expenses, from 79% of revenue in Q1 2011 to 58% of revenue in the first quarter of this year.
