DW.DE - July 15 - Hannover, Germany has overtaken Berlin as the singles capital of the country. According to the latest statistics, 33 percent of the people in Hannover are living alone. Internet dating sites have adjusted their marketing strategies to leverage this. 15.9 million Germans over age 18 live alone. Women over 65 and men between 35 and 64 are the two largest groups in the singles population.
