IDCA has been following Match.com's purchase of Tutor.com since January. What is IDCA? We systematize dating advice and certify dating coaches by showing them successful business models as well as more consistent ways to teach dating.
One of our bigger undertakings, on development of which we have been focusing on over the last year, is providing live dating advisors for members of online dating sites. We have a strong suspicion that Match is moving in same direction with this CEO swap. We are not sure what business model they will use, but it seems that with online dating market maturing they are looking for new and potentially big ways to generate growth.
Dating advisement is one such venue that can have a natural fit with the online dating industry as long as it can be scaled. IDCA has found a way to scale and it seems Match have found a way to do it too.
