SCTIMES - Apr 22 - Tinder, a new iPhone dating app, is popular with students at colleges and universities. The app, which uses its members' Facebook information, finds other Tinder users within a 50-mile radius and connects them if there's a mutual interest. AppData ranks Tinder as a top-200 app and estimates the app averages ~100K daily users.

The average internet dater prefers to meet people within 20 miles. That seems rather short-sighted really. Its worthwhile casting the net farther afield for a more serious relationship. I met my wife in Prague while I was there for a conference. Now I work with AnastasiaDate.
