DAILYMAIL.CO.UK - Jan 23 - A research study released by eHarmony suggests that 50% of couples will meet online within 20 years. They predict that number will rise to 70% by 2040. The 55 to 64-year-old age group is expected to see a 30 per cent rise from 2013 to 2030 , increasing from 1.87 million to 2.41 million. Internet access among those 18 to 64 has doubled in the past decade to 88%. eHarmony is predicting the future of dating will contribute more than £256 million of consumer spending by 2030 - an increase of 81% compared to today.
