THE AUSTRALIAN - Mar 24 - Fairfax Media dating site RSVP has struck an alliance with the Ten Network-backed dating site Oasis Active. Fairfax will pay Ten $5M for 25% of the free-to-air broadcaster’s shareholding, which stands at 40%. The remainder is owned by private investors. The agreement values Oasis at ~$40m. The dating sites have come under pressure from a new wave of free mobile apps led by Tinder, which has already been adopted by 5% of the Australian population.
