Mark Brooks: Remember Dan Slaters book, Love In The Time Of Algorithms. Well, it got renamed to Data, A Love Story. Personally, I don't think users give two hoots about algorithms and data. These words are a huge turn off to users actually. What they care about is insight. And that's what Zoosk, and the rest of the industry, would do well to serve up more of. I applaud this new feature from Zoosk. So you have data, and algorithms, but users don't care until you show them what you can do with it! :-)
Mark,
I agree with you that at the end of the day, what our customers care about is how they can have more success in pursuit of a better love life. We always look at everything we do from that lens. It might be cool for developers that they have fancy algorithms but until our customer sees tangible benefits, they don't care (and we shouldn't expect them to either). With Zoosk Insights, we are starting yet another dimension of showing them the path to higher success rate based on their own actions and how other singles respond to them. What we are doing here is not only unique but transformational in our opinion. We are super excited about this new layer of value to our customers at Zoosk. Glad you think the same way.
Best,
Shayan

We had pretty much the exact same feature 10 years ago with our meetme/rate me stats.
Some users thought it was cool but ultimately it had no real impact so we got rid of it.
