THE LINE - Mar 10 - SparkStarter is a matchmaking and dating app developed by MSP entrepreneur Tony Kramer. It promises a better, less awkward way for singles to meet. The app launched in mid-February and claims ~2M users. SparkStarter syncs with Facebook and lets single users browse their friends and friends-of-friends. When they find someone appealing, they can “vote up” to create a “Spark” — a potential match — and get formally introduced by a mutual friend.
