EXAMINER - May 4 - The Grade, a fairly new dating app, is launching a photo feature to help users know what works and what doesn’t. The Grade launched last Nov, and reached ~50K in 5 months. The Grade was created with the woman in mind. It holds users accountable for their behavior. The Grade assigns letter grades from “A+ to F based on profile quality, responsiveness, and message quality. According to The Grade, a picture that shows off a talent is considered sexy by users. Photos of women playing an instrument have the highest like-rates compared to the average. A man that posts a professional headshot rates incredibly high, however a woman with the same type of photo is rated less than favorably. More findings about profile photos.
