OPW - Nov 16 - It looks like Avalanche, the parent company of Date.com, Matchmaker.com, Amor.com, Geek2Geek and other dating sites, has gone out of business. All the sites are down. We have reached out to Avalanche's CEO, Meir Strahlberg, and will update as we learn more.

Just checked Date.com, Amor.com, Matchmaker.com and Gk2gk.com and unfortunately they are all still down. Did the company fall on hard times? The mobile offering was non-existent. In this market, having a strong mobile offering is an essential. Did the CEO and CTO fall out and part ways after so many years working together? Looks like they just pulled the rip-cord on their entire product offering.
