Online dating's busiest day of the year falls on Sunday, Jan. 7. Match says 8:55PM ET on Jan. 7 is the best time to sign up for online dating, when Match plans to see a 42% spike in new singles looking for love.

Peak dating season starts at 1 PM pacific on Christmas day. When I worked at Spark we could tell when people were done with Christmas presents.
