Tens of thousands of apps arrive in the app stores every months - roughly 50K in the iOS App Store and over 150K in Google Play in October 2017 alone - to the point where there are ~ 2M apps in the iOS App Store and ~3.5M in Google Play.

Great read! Apps are becoming in waves this year and I have a feeling a lot will be towards video and photo editing. Apps seem to find a lot of success when they keep up with digital trends!
