ROLLINGOUT - Apr 6 - BLK, the leading Black dating app, grew exponentially during the pandemic. The app downloads have doubled YOY to 5M downloads. In the first two weeks of lockdown, the daily user activity increased by 18%. A year later, the daily activity remains strong [up 44% YOY], with an increase of 22% in daily in-app messages YOY. Compared to other dating apps specifically made for Black singles, BLK is the leader by far in terms of app downloads. For comparison – BLK - 5.06M; RBL - 125K; BlackCupid - 271K; and StraightBlackLove -13.7K.
