PR WEB - FaceTec, the global leader in 3D biometric face liveness detection, has filed a lawsuit against iProov for alleged patent infringement, breach of contract, and intentional interference with contractual relations. IProov is another tech firm focused on selfie-based biometric identity verification. The lawsuit alleges that iProov has added features copied from FaceTec to its "Liveness Assurance"” software. Further, FaceTec alleges iProov improperly incorporates aspects of FaceTec's technology that iProov learned through participation in FaceTec’s $100K Spoof Bounty Program.
