AFP - Tinder is set to leave Russia on June 30. The decision, announced by Match Group in an annual impact report, cites the commitment to protecting human rights. Tinder had ~25% of the Russian market and its departure is expected to lead to a redistribution of customers and revenue to local services, similar to what happened after Bumble and Badoo's exit. Russian tech giant VK is developing its own dating app, VK Znakomstva, which has seen a significant surge in its user base.
