COSMOPOLITAN - Hulu is releasing a documentary titled "The Ashley Madison Affair" on July 7th, which covers the 2015 hack of Ashley Madison, a Canadian online dating service catering to people looking for affairs. Noel Biderman was the CEO of Avid Life Media, which owns Ashley Madison, at the time of the hack. He defended the dating site by claiming it was just a platform and did not promote infidelity. However, after the hack, it was revealed that not only did the company fail to delete user accounts as requested, but Biderman himself had engaged in multiple affairs. Biderman resigned as CEO of both Ashley Madison and Avid Life Media on August 28, 2015. Currently, he is the CEO of a Toronto-based software company called Avenue Insights and serves as a Strategic Advisor at WonderFi, a company providing access to technology and financial tools. He also makes an appearance in the Hulu documentary.
