They offer a less intimidating way to meet new people and are particularly vital for the LGBTQ+ community, with ~60% of LGBTQ+ couples meeting online. Dating apps also facilitate more diverse relationships, with studies showing that couples who met online are more likely to be interracial, interreligious, and from different educational backgrounds.
