Forthright, and incredibly insightful, she will give us her thoughts on how the dating industry can improve in this interview with Mark Brooks.

US WEEKLY - June 19 - Patti Stanger, the Millionaire Matchmaker, has introduced her new boyfriend at her 51st birthday party. Patti Stanger was also celebrating the launch of her website Pattiknows.com, and admitted she had no qualms about diving right in to the online dating game. "I tried four sites, including my own site and PlentyofFish (POF). PlentyofFish won," Stanger revealed.

Patti Stanger: The Brutally Honest Millionaire Matchmaker

NEW YORK TIMES - Oct 25 - Patti Stanger is the star of the popular Bravo reality program ''The Millionaire Matchmaker'. This abrasive-to-the-point-of-abusive style of matchmaking has made Ms. Stanger famous, and her show, whose fourth season had its debut last week, a hit. In the Darwinian universe of Patti Stanger, anyone in search of a partner should simply follow her guidelines. Women must enhance their appearance by whatever means necessary: religiously caring for their skin, or growing out and straightening their hair. Men, for their part, need to remember that a woman must be wooed. ''I don't care if you have to take me to Olive Garden,'' she said, ''you've got to take out the c.c. you know?'' And no sex without and ''exclusive, committed, monogamous relationship.''

A Matchmaker With A Rich Niche

WSJ - May 25 - Patti Stanger is the owner of The Millionaire's Club, an elite matchmaking service based in L.A. She also hosts Bravo's reality show "The Millionaire Matchmaker."

Q: Your first real job in matchmaking was at Great Expectations, the oldest dating service in the U.S. What do you consider your first professional match?
A: I dated a guy and he liked me but I didn't like him. He said to me, "If I give you $10,000, will you find me my wife because I want someone like you?" And within a year, he got married. 

Q: Why did you stay in the corporate world so long?
A: I was a VP of marketing. I was always a corporate Fortune 500 girl. I had to realize matchmaking was a business. Silicon Valley was booming with millionaires coming every weekend trying to get their "hottie patottie" and find their future wife. They didn't know how to date, they didn't know how to talk to girls.

Q: So, your job isn't just about matching people up for dates or relationships? 
A: Coaching is three-quarters of what we do in matchmaking. 

Q: How is your club different than other dating services?
A: We offer unlimited dating because the process is never-ending. 

Q: How much do clients pay for your services? How are they chosen?
A: Fees range from a base membership of $40,000 for a year of unlimited dating throughout the U.S. and Canada to a VIP or Diamond Membership, which runs from $150,000 to $200,000.

Q: Why don't the potential dates have to have money?
A: Successful men want to always take care of their women financially.

Q: How do you stay in business, considering love is so unpredictable and can go sour?
A: I have a great track record, and I have never been sued. If I can't find someone for someone, I refer them out. I have an affiliate division of matchmakers all over the world that I work with. 

Q: If you weren't a matchmaker, what would you be?
A: I'd be a chef.

NEWS.COM.AU -- Apr 24 -- Lindsay Lewis founded Millionairedating.com.au six months ago and says there's been a steady stream of Australian women looking for a wealthy Mr Right, either as a short term sugar daddy or a long term partner. With names like Sugardaddies.com and Seekingmillionaire.com, the sites offer to match "those with beauty with those with wealth". Another Australian dating site catering to women looking for a successful partner is Millionairematchmaker.com.au. Basic registration starts at $165, while the entry level introduction service costs upwards of $1500. Success fees are also payable, with a newly engaged couple recently handing over $50,000. Most Australians would rather follow their hearts than their purse strings when it comes to romance, according to research commissioned by HSBC Bank for Valentine's Day this year.
